The Kind of Blue room at our romantic North Carolina inn cherishes the friendship between the original hotel’s owner Buddy Gist and the iconic jazz musician Miles Davis, saturated in bountiful shades of blue after the trumpeter’s namesake studio album. Mile Davis was an iconic Jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. During the time of Jim Crow, he would stay at the Historic Magnolia house when he played in the Greensboro area.
