"The Magnolia House is a hidden gem in the east Greensboro area. I had no idea about the historical relevance but was amazing by it's story. Our team arranged a lunch there and the food was fantastic! We enjoyed fish and grits, fried chicken wings and french toast, mimosas and homemade pound cake. I recommend to all for a visit and meal. I'm super excited to return to see the completed museum and bed and breakfast projects being developed!"

While we waited for our order, we toured the historical Green Book hotel/motel/private residence. We had the fried chicken, Bombay toast, which is essentially French toast and a side of pimiento mac & cheese and syrup. All served in a cardboard lunchbox with 1or 2 AA history figures highlighted. Did I mention that the food was delicious and filling?😋 "Knowledge is power", so say Sir Francis Bacon.

Beautiful Historic Place! The Shoebox Lunch with Chicken and Mashed Potatoes is a must with your visit. Excellent Food and very friendly staff.
